Our Treatment Approaches

 

Pre-Op Spine Care

Patients scheduled for spine surgery will be fitted for bracing, and be provided information on post-surpical rehabilitation.

Post-Op Spine Care

After surgery, patients will meet with physical therapists to develop a program to help them return to normal activity.

Non-Surgical Spine Care

Non-surgical patients will work with physical therapists on a rehabilition program to help them return to normal activity.

 

Treatment Methods

Aquatic

Using a bouyency of water for decreased stress during excerise, Aquatic Thereapy builds strengths, increases flexibility and increases endurance.

General Fitness

Patients can be referred to a general fitness program that includes aquatics and gym equipment utilization under the supervision of therapy personnel.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy can help improve many conditions such as low back pain, arthritis, many forms of stress and tension.  It is used to promote increased joint range of motion and improve circulation.

Myofascial Release

Using gentle pressure and stretching to relax tissue, Myofascial Release helps increase flexibility and helps reduce pain.

Stability Core

The purpose of the Stability Core program is to strengthen the spine using excercise and posturing.

Work Conditioning

Excercises in the Work Conditioning program are focused on the individual's needs to allow them to return to work.
